In the entire game, Time goes periodically back home to Malon. He reaches the forest, Ganon has already been there and it's a mess. After collecting the stones he takes the master sword and fights Ganondorf for the first time but he escapes. The Gerudo who support Ganondorf are defeated, the others create a sort of resistance, hiding in Castle Town or Kakariko or so, a young Telma is with them. He has to take that sword away from the Temple of Time and bring it in a more secure place.

Now the Master Sword won't make timeshift because he's old enough. He has to get the stones before Ganondorf again, and kill him, now that everyone knows he is indeed a problem. Time fights them, but everyone knows it's a diversive. The sword is in the Temple of Time, the stones are in the hands of their rightful owners. Now Time is 30: Ganondorf has aged too, he has the TP appearance. The more he thought about how his family did this to him, and how they probably just went home and went back to normal, as if they hadn’t done something so disgusting to him-the more he suffered and thus made others suffer as well. All because he couldn’t handle his own death. They never lived another peaceful day after they started playing that game cartridge. He plagued their dreams, made it so that they hallucinated their worst fears over and over again. He terrorized innocent people until they killed themselves, until they couldn’t take it anymore. The truama of being dragged down to the bottom of a dark disgusting lake pushed him to do things that were made possible by his current ghost-like state. It’s the game cartridge he possessed for years upon years, dragging anyone that played it to their vile deaths. While his favorite game used to be Majora’s Mask, now it’s been tainted. The zelda way just wasn't meant for anything highly realistic, but this is mostly my opinion of course. A lot of the designs of the characters in Twilight tend to look awkward bc of the realistic style and dark colors especially with the Hd remake of the game. So the love comes from the story and It’s characters.

With the Change to a darker style bc fans hate bright colors and joy even if WW was far from a joyful story honestly I mean Aryl gets kidnapped in five minutes, It brought a lack of that zelda feeling bc they thought about it as “what would these certain fans want?” rather than “how would want to make that game?”. WW had adult link concept art, growing as the game progressed and at this point I think they were taking any aspect of ocarina to make a good game I’m glad they realized they did not need it at all. They also changed the time traveling aspect to three days instead of whenever for ocarina, which kept you on your toes and made you aware of the characters of the game, and wanting to interact with them bc you all have three days to live wouldn't you want to know how people in their final moments are like?get to know them all?. But getting back on Topic in beta images of Majoras Mask the fierce deity mask was just an adult link mask and im so glad they scarped it, bc for one that mechanic would make no sense if u can hold adult weapons anyway and it wouldn't even fit for the story, it would have felt like ocarina where u would have to switch for different things but for literally no reason. They decided to not Even do ura Zelda(Like i guess they did bc master quest but is it really?) and instead created new unique dungeons, new story, new everything (in a year no less), And I’m so happy that they chose not to go with the Gamecube’s tech demo style for Wind Waker bc it was basically ocarina with updated graphics and instead just did THAT with WW and it was such an inventive style which to me brang the *look* Nintendo has come to be known by, even if many people hated it, bc unless its dark and gritty u cant play a game or whatever which is how twilight came about but While it did it have an amazing story it lacked the whimsical aspect of Zelda that I always looked forward to bc they pandered to the American audience and They learned after that to just do you Nintendo. I think what I enjoy about Nintendo's approach to Zelda games after ocarina is the decision to not rehash any previously used formulas From Ocarina.
